Exercise 1: Installing new Hardware

The exercise asked us to install a piece of hardware that has not been installed properly.

1 Select the Control Panel from the Start menu.

2 Select Add new Hardware from the Printers and other hardware option.

3 When the assistant has detected new hardware select the one you want to install from the list and tell it that you want Windows XP to install the necessary drivers.
