Exercises Unit 15: Effects on Animations


Exercise 1: Rotation Effect

1 File → New.

2 Right click the first frame and select Create Motion Tween. Press F6 in frame 20 and place the wheel at the other end of the stage.

3 Right click the Frame 1 and choose the submenu option Properties (if it isn't already activated). In the window that appears select the value Clockwise of the option of Rotation to rotate to the right and to give the sensation of balance. Introduce the value 1 for number of rotations.

4 File → Save As.

 

    

Exercise 2: Acceleration Effect

 

1 File → Open.

2 Right click the Frame 1 and choose the option of submenu Properties again (if it’s not activated already). In the window that appears select the value 100 of the Acceleration option (Ease).

 

Exercise 3: Orienting along the Line

 

1 File → Open.

2 Create a new Guide layer using the corresponding button located under the names of the layers. Draw a pair of knolls with the Tool Pencil.

   Place, as we saw in unit 13, the instance of the first and the last frame at the beginning and at the end of the guide, respectively. 

3 Now right click the Frame 1 and choose the submenu option Properties (if it isn't already activated). In the window of Frame properties, which appears, mark the tab Orient according to layout.

 

Exercise 4: Alpha Effect

 

1 Use the Text Tool and write your name in the first frame

2 Select the object and convert it into a symbol.

3 Create a motion tweening of 15 frames for the name.

4 Click on the text (that 's now a symbol) and select the last frame of the tweening and choose from the folding panel "Color" the option Alpha and enter value 0 in the nearby box.

5 Create a new layer an write ther your last name.

6 Move the frame that has the last name until the frame 12 and do the same as in the previous case but assigning value Alpha from 0 in the first frame to 100 in the last one.
