Add a background to a sheet..

Excel2003 permits us to add a background image to our sheets. For this, follow these next steps:

Select the Format menu, and then the Sheet option.

Another submenu appears.

Select the Background... option.

The dialog box seen below will appear:

Look for the image to use as background.

Click on Insert.

If we want to remove the background:

Select the Format menu.

Select the Sheet option.

Another submenu will appear.

Select the Delete background option.

Change the tab colours in a sheet

Excel2003 also allows us to change or assign a colour to the tags in a calculation sheet. For this, follow these next steps:

Select the Format menu.

Select the Sheet option.

A submenu will appear.

Select the Tab color... tab.

A dialog box will appear (seen right..)

Select the desired color.

Click on OK.

Here we will show you how they will look if we color the tabs in our sheets.

To remove the color from the tags in our sheets we only need to follow the same steps as in the beginning of this section.

Select the Format menu, then the Sheet option.

Another submenu will appear.

Select the Tab color... option.

Select the NO color option.

Click on OK.
