None: To remove any border from the selected cells.

Outline: To create a border only around the selected cells.

Border: This box is often used when none of the preset buttons serve us. Depending on the border to put or to remove (top, bottom,left,...) click on the corresponding button. BE AWARE!! When using the preset buttons the border will be the style and color that was selected, in case of selecting another aspect for the border, we firstly need to select Style and Color, and then click on the border to place.

Style: A line style is selected from the list.

Color: The active color by defect is Automatic, but by clicking on the arrow to the right we can select a colour for the borders.

In the toolbox we have a button available that permits us to modify the borders in a quick and efficient manner.

If we click on the button botón borde it will insert a border the same as it is represented. In case of wanting another, select it from the arrow to the right of the button. Here you will not find all of the options seen from the menu box.

To practice these operations we recommend you perform the Borders Exercise.

Clic on the Patterns tab.

The screen seen to the right will appear.

Select the desired options from the box.
