Theme 5 Exercises. MANIPULATING CELLS (II).

Exercise 4: Thefts.

1 Start a new workbook, to create the following model, at the moment we will not fix on the aspect of the cells, but only their contents:

2 Save the workbook in the My documents folder of the hard drive, naming it Thefts.

If you are unsure of how to perform any of the operations explained in this exercise, we will explain them here.

Exercise 5: Multiplication table.

1 Start a new workbook to create a model that obtains the multiplication tables from 1 to 9, corresponding the image seen below (again we are not worried about the aspect of the cells, but rather their contents):

2 Finish the model by writing a formula in cell C5 for the result of 1*1, and then copy it to the rest of the cells.

(Careful with the cell references!)

3 Close and save the workbook in the My documents folder, naming it Multiplication.

If you are unsure of how to perform any of the operations explained in this exercise, we will explain them here.
