Differentiate between, and use the various alignment options availible in Excel2003.

1 If Excel2003 is not open, open it in order to perform the exercise. 2 Open the Fruit sales workbook found in the Exercises folder of the course. 3 Select the range A5:A12 . 4 Drop down the Format menu. 5 Select the Cells... option. 6 Click on the Alignment tab. 7 In the Horizontal box, click on the downward arrow of the possible horizontal alignment options list till Right, and click on this to select it. 8 Click on OK. Observe the result. 9 If you are not already in it, select the range A5:A12. 10 Click on the button 11 Click on the button 12 Select the range B5:F12 . 13 Click on the button
14 Select the range B4:F4. 15 Go to the Format menu. 16 Select the Cells... option. 17 Click on the Alignment tab to activate it, if not already done. 18 Click on the second diamond from the top in the Orientation box in such a way the the bottom part appears at 90 degrees.
19 Click on OK. 20 Select the range B4:F4. 21 Go to the Format menu. 22 Select the Cells... option. 23 Click on the Alignment tab to activate it, if not already done. 24 Click on the Center option in the Vertical box so that the text is centered with respect to the height of the cell. 25 Click on Accept. 26 Save the workbook with the same name as before. 27 Close the workbook.
