 Step by step exercise.
 1 If Excel2003 is not open, open it in order to perform the exercise. 2 Write 5 integer numbers in Column B (better for the exercise if they are only one digit). Each one in a cell, but be sure to keep them all in Column B. We are now going to multiply all the values in column B, 3 Situate yourself in cell C6 and clic on , select the Mathematics and trigonometry category and select the PRODUCT() function. Click OK. 4 Select column B as parameter. Click OK. We now have a result produced in cell C6. We are now going to transfer the result to roman numerals (this is why we told you about the numbers of a digit) 5 Situate yourself in cell D6 and click on , select the Math and trig category and select the ROMAN function. Click OK.   6 Select the cell where we have the result of the product as parameter - cell C6, and clic Accept. The result should appear in roman numerals. Lets work a little with statistics 7 Add 5 more numbers in column B, and modify the existing ones by making them bigger, ie more than one digit. 8 Situate yourself in cell B12 and clic on , then select the AVERAGE function from the Statistical category. 9 Select the 10 cells in column B as parameter. Click on Accept. We are now going to look at MEDIAN. 10 Situate yourself in cell B13 and clic on , then select the MEDIAN function from the Statistical category. 11 Select the 10 cells in column B as parameter. Click on OK. Lets look at MODE. 12 Situate yourself in cell B11 and clic on , then select the MODE function from the Statistical category. 13 Select the 10 cells in column B as parameter. Clic on OK. 14 Save the workbook in the My documents folder of the hard drive, naming it Other Excel functions. 15 Close the workbook.
