Working with functions (II)

Function statistics:

HARMEAN (number1;number2;...) Function

Returns the harmonic mean of a data set. The harmonic mean is the reciprocal of the arithmetic mean of reciprocals.

Example: =HARMEAN(5;5;2) returns 3.33333

MAX (number1;number2;...) function

Returns the largest value in a set of values.

Example: =MAX(5;5;2;15;12;18) returns 18

MIN (number1;number2;...) function

Returns the smallest number in a set of values.

Example: =MIN(5;5;2;15;12;18) returns 2

MEDIAN (number1;number2;...) function

Returns the median of the given numbers. The median is the number in the middle of a set of numbers; that is, half the numbers have values that are greater than the median, and half have values that are less.

Example: =MEDIAN(5;5;2;15;12;18) returns 8,5

MODE (number1;number2;...) function

Returns the most frequently occurring, or repetitive, value in an array or range of data. Like MEDIAN, MODE is a location measure.

Example: =MODE(5;5;2;15;12;18) returns 5

AVERAGE(number1;number2;...) function.

Returns the average (arithmetic mean) of the arguments.

Example: =AVERAGE(5;5;2) returns 4

VAR(number1;number2;...) function.

Estimates variance based on a sample.

Example: =VAR(5;5;2;7;12) returns 13,7

K.ESIMO.MAYOR(array;k)?????

Devuelve el valor k-ésimo mayor de un conjunto de datos. Por ejemplo el cuarto número mayor del conjunto de datos.

Ejemplo: =K.ESIMO.MAYOR({23;5;1\4;6;28\5;18;21};4) devuelve 18

Función K.ESIMO.MENOR(array;k)???????

Devuelve el valor k-ésimo menor de un conjunto de datos. Por ejemplo el cuarto número menor del conjunto de datos.

Ejemplo: =K.ESIMO.MENOR({23;5;1\4;6;28\5;18;21};4) devuelve 5
