Exercise 1: Sports

Point 1: To open the Sports site select it in the Files panel. You can open the panel through the Window menu, and then selcting the Files option. Select the Sports site from the drop-down menu that appears in the top of the panel.

Point 2: To open the document facilities.htm double-click on this file in the file list that appears in the Files panel.

Point 3: If the properties inspector doesn't appear, it can be opened through the Window menu, and then the Properties option.

If the properties inspector doesn't show up completly, click on the button to see its advanced properties.

Position the cursor over any of the second table's last row cells.

Go to the Modify menu and select the Insert row in the Table option.

Type STEP on the first cell of the new row and then select it.

Point 4: In the Size option of the properties inspector.

Select the second and third row last cell, and click on the button to merge them.

Place the pointer in any cell of the last row of the first table, and see what hex color number the dark green is. The color number is #99CC99 and appears on the Bg field of the properties inspector.

Select the second table in the last row and type #99CC99 on Bg.

Click outside the table so that the last change is applied.

Part 4: Click on the Save button , and then click on the Close button

 

Exercise 2: Kitchen

 

Point 1 To open the Kitchen site it's necessary to select it in the File panel. You can open the panel through the Window menu, and then the Files option. Select the Kitchen site from the drop-down menu that appears in the top of the Files panel.

Point 2 To open the desertweek.htm document, double-click on this file in the Files panel.

Point 3 If the properties inspector doesn't appear, it can be opened through the Window menu, and then the Properties option.

If properties inspector doesn't show up completely, click on the button to see its advanced properties.

Place the cursor in the table's third row and click on the button of the properties inspector. A new dialogue window will be opened.

Select Columns in the Split cells into option and type 2 in Number of columns:.

Click on OK.

Type honey in the third row second cell, which is the only one empty, and then select the text.

Point 4 Select Size, in the properties inspector.

Click outside the table so that the last change is applied.

Point 5 Click on the Save button , and then click on the Close button
