Unit 12 Exercises. Inserting Layers.

If you don't have Dreamweaver open yet, open it in order to perform the following exercises.

Exercise 1: Sports.

1 Open the Sports site.

2 Open the who.htm document.

3 Insert a layer named offer.

4 Insert in the layer the text:

This weekend, enjoy free aerobic classes just for visiting our instalations.

 

Close

5 Modify the properties of the layer's text, so that they are align center, bold, and size 4.

6 Write #CCFFCC as layer Bg color.

7 Write 460px in layer width , and 82px as height.

8 Write 150px as left margin, and 128px as top margin.

9 Make the layer visible.

10 Save the changes and close the document.

Exercise 2: Kitchen.

1 Open the Kitchen site.

2 Open the menu.htm document.

3 Insert a layer named mail.

4 Insert in the layer the text:

Don't forget to send us your questions and suggestions.

5 Modify the properties of the layer's text, so that it is align center, bold, and size 4.

6 Write #FF9999 as the layer Bg color.

7 Write 133px in layer width , and 87px as height.

8 Write 28px as left margin, and 320px as top margin.

9 Make the layer hidden.

10 Save the changes and close the document.
