1 You need to open Dreamweaver in order to perform the exercises.
2 If the File panel doesn't show up, open it through the Window menu, and then the Files option.
3 Select Animals in the Files panel.
4 Double-click on the dogs.htm document that is in the Files panel.
The document will be opened in Dreamweaver.
5 If the Properties inspector doesn't show up, open it through Window menu, and then the Properties option.
6 If the Properties
inspector doesn't
show up completely, press the 
button to unfold its advanced properties.
7 Select the table first row. You can do this by locating the cursor next to the left edge of the table (next to the row), and clicking when the pointer shape changes to an arrow.
8 Click on the Merges selected
cells 
button, in the properties inspector.
9 Select the first cell and the third row. You can do this by clicking on the cell and then dragging the pointer to the other cell.
10 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
11 Select the last cell of the second and third row.
12 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
13 Select the second row's second and third cells.
14 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
15 Select the fourth row's second and third cells.
16 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
17 Select the fifth row's second and third cells.
18 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
19 Select the sixth row's second and third cells.
20 Click on the Merges selected
cells
button.
21 Modify the size of the columns so that they adjust better to the content. You can do this by maintaining the mouse pressed on the edges of the columns and dragging them towards the desired position.
22 Click on the Save 
button on the standard toolbar.
