Exercise 1: Sports

Point 1 To open the Sports site it's necessary to select it in the File panel. You can open the panel through the Window menu and then the Files option. Select the Sports site from the drop-down menu that appears in the top of the panel.

Point 2 To open the reservations.htm document it's necessary to double-click on this file in the file list that appear in the Files panel.

Point 3 If the properties inspector doesn't appear, it can opened through the Window menu and then the Properties option.

If properties inspector doesn't show up completly, clic on the button to see its advanced properties.

Place the pointer to the right of the Hour text:

Select the Textarea from the Form option in the Insert menu.

Select the Textarea we have just created and write 5 on the Char width of the properties inspector.

Point 4 Click on the right of the Center text:

Go to the Insert menu, select the Form option, and then select the List/Menu option.

Select the List/Menu we have just created, and select Menu in the Type option of the properties inspector.

Click on the List Values... button, a new dialogue window will be opened.

Write Don Benito in the Item label.

To insert a new element into the list clic on the button. Add the Madrid and Silla elements.

Click on Ok.

Point 5 Select the menu.

Select Don Benito as the Initially selected value of the properties inspector.

Point 6 Place the cursor to the left of the Submit button.

Go to the Insert menu, select the Form option and then select Button.

Select the Button that we have just created, and select the Reset form option of the properties inspector.

Click outside of the button so that the last change is applied.

Point 7 Click on the Save button , and then click on the Close button .

 

Exercise 2: Kitchen

 

Point 1 To open to the Kitchen site it's necessary to select it in the File panel. You can open the panel through the Window menu and then the Files option. Select the Kitchen site from the drop-down menu that appears in the top of the File panel.

Point 2 To open the yourrecipe.htm document, double click on this file in the File panel.

Click on the empty cell to the right of the Type: text.

Go to the Insert menu, select the Form option, and then select List/Menu.

Select the List/Menu we have just created, and then select Menu in the Type option of the properties inspector.

Click on the List Values... button, a new dialogue window will be opened.

Write Dish in the Item label.

To insert a new element on the list clic on the button. Add the Desert item.

Click on Ok.

Point 4 Select the menu.

Select Dish as the Initially selected value of the properties inspector.

Point 5 Click on the empty cell below the Ingredients text.

Select the Textarea from the Form option in the Insert menu.

Select the Text area we have just created.

Write 40 in the Char width of the properties inspector.

Write 5 in the Num lines.

Select Default on Wrap.

Point 6 Position the cursor to the right of the Reset button.

Go to the Insert menu, select the Form option, and then select Button.

Select the Button that we have just created, and select the Submit form option of the properties inspector.

Click outside of the button so that the last change is applied.

Point 7 Click on the Save button , and then click on the Close button .
