Step by step exercise. Creating forms |

To learn how to create forms using the wizard.

Open the Classes.mdb database.
1 Position yourself in the Forms tab in the Database window. 2 Double click on the Create form by using wizard option. 3 Select the Students table from the Table/query box in the first page of the assistant. 4 Click on the 5 Click on the Next button to go to the wizard's next screen. 6 Leave the Columnar option activated as the distribution of the form. 7 Click on the Next button. 8 Leave the style of the form as Standard. 9 Click on the Next button. 10 Type the title as students columnar. 11 Click on the Finish button. Observe how on creating the form the data stored in the first record from the table appears. By clicking on the buttons of the Navigation
bar 12 Click 13 Click 14 Click 15 Click 16 Close the form, saving the changes.
1 Position yourself in the Forms tab in the Database window if you are not already there.. 2 Double click on the Create form by using wizard option. 3 Select the Courses table from the Table/query box in the first page of the wizard. 4 Click on the 5 Click on the Next button to go to the wizards next screen. 6 Select the Tabular option as the form distribution. 7 Click on the Next button. 8 Leave the style of the form as the Industrial option. 9 Click on the Next button. 10 Type the name of the form as Courses Tabular. 11 Click on the Finish button. 12 Close the form.
1 Position yourself in the Forms tab in the Database window if you are not already there.. 2 Click on Courses Tabular. 3 Click on the If you want you can summarize steps 2 and 3 by double clicking on the Courses Tabular name. 4 Once the form is opened we only need to change the data by changing the field with the ENTER key. There is no need to save the records as this is done automatically. The data to change is:
5 Close the form. |
